Classical Concert Series

at Bristol Apartments

For Seniors, Low-Income, and the Disabled

Arts At Large presents its Friday Classical Concert Series in the previously never-used beautiful ballroom at Bristol Apartments, 3318 N. Lake Shore Drive, a government subsidized community of over 100 seniors and persons with disabilities. These concert are free for the residents of the building.

These concerts are open to the public. We ask a $5 donation to help support this program from any outside guests who would like to attend.

With the support of Alderman Tom Tunney and the surrounding community, the CCS has been a strong success, bringing in busloads of seniors from Lakeview and beyond to enjoy our Friday Classical Concert Series.

Between 2006 and 2007, Arts At Large had the privilege of working with Great Opportunities, an Adult Day Program that provides care and companionship for the frail elderly. Our concerts took part for GO provides a supervised program during the day in a warm, homey atmosphere with a congenial group of other older adults. Our audience participated in a wide variety of artistically-minded programs, and were treated to a bi-monthly music performances by Arts At Large.
